Company History

Inter City Group Pty. Ltd. (formerly Advance Australasia Pty. Ltd.), was founded in 1994 with the specific goal to import and strategically market watches in Australia & New Zealand. With a vigorous growth plan ICG soon became the market leader with the implementation of their unique Time Centre Programs.

Today, Inter City Group has worldwide distribution, is 100% vertically integrated and has expanded into sunglasses, jewellery & other fashion accessories. An overview of the company's recent achievements follows:

1998

Time Centre Programs operational in major Australian & NZ National Retail Chains

2002

Opened Intermax International HK Office (focused on sourcing and logistics)

2003

Inter-Power China Factory established in partnership with Inter City UK, the largest watch company in the United Kingdom

2004

Inter City Canada Office opened in Toronto supplying watch programs to key National Retail Groups

2005

Sunglasses and Jewellery added to extend product category offer

2007

Mexican market entered via supply agreements with Commercial Mexicana - one of Mexico's largest Retail groups
Wal-Mart USA supply agreement established via arrangement with Seiko Instruments
